I cannot recommend Yoyo at Salon Allure enough! I live on the mainland, but I wait until I’m back in Honolulu to get my hair done because no one does balayage and color like Yoyo. I have dark, stubborn Asian hair that’s notoriously difficult to lift and bleach — but somehow, she always gets it just right. Her technique is flawless, and the end result is always beautifully blended, dimensional, and exactly what I want. She keeps my hair healthy and looking vibrant, and she also has a fun variety of bold, punky colors to choose from! Yoyo and her husband Dennis, who also does hair at the salon, are both incredibly talented, friendly, and genuinely care about their clients. The atmosphere at Salon Allure feels warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. Yoyo takes her time, listens, and makes sure you leave not only looking amazing but feeling great too. Their location at Ala Moana is super convenient, and the free parking at the mall is a huge plus — no stress about finding a spot, paying for parking, or feeding a meter. If you’ve struggled to find someone who really understands how to work with darker Asian hair and achieve punky colors, or you just want the best balayage ever, go see Yoyo. She’s a true artist and an absolute gem!

I’ve been going to Dee for the past 9 years, and I truly can’t recommend him and his salon enough. The level of consistency, professionalism, and care I’ve experienced over nearly a decade is unmatched. The salon and it’s stylists are always warm, welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful, making every appointment feel like a personalized experience. I’ve had the pleasure of having both Dee and Yoyo work on my hair, and both stylists individually are amazing so you truly can’t go wrong coming to Salon Allure. Their skills are top tier; whether it’s a simple trim, balayage, universal color, color correction, or just an overall makeover, they always deliver exactly what I envision (and sometimes even better!). The pricing is incredibly fair for the level of expertise and quality you’re getting. One of the things I value most is the exceptional customer service. On the very rare occasions when I wasn’t completely satisfied with the initial result, they handled it with nothing but professionalism and respect. There’s never any ego or defensiveness, just a genuine desire to make things right. They always go above and beyond to ensure I leave happy, and I truly appreciate how easy and comfortable they make the process. That kind of care and dedication is hard to find and is a big reason why I’ve stayed a loyal client for so many years. If you’re looking for a stylist who really knows their craft, takes pride in their work, and treats clients with respect and care, this is the salon for you. I literally do not trust my hair with anyone else!

Ask for Kelly! She's very friendly and professional and definitely knows what she's doing. She was very attentive to what I wanted, but I also gave her leeway to do what she think is best for the style and cut I was looking for. Will definitely come back and I strongly recommend her!

I have been going to Dee for all of my hair needs for the past seven years and he is truly the best! I started as a client with him at his previous salon, but was so excited when he and his wife opened Salon Allure. The services they offer are top notch quality, delivering an experience that leaves you feeling pampered. The aesthetic of the salon is super cute too! I highly recommend checking them out.

I just had my hair cut and toned with Kelly. I was very lucky that she had a cancellation and was able to get me in so close to Christmas. From my consultation, she was able to give me exactly the color I was looking for, and the trim made my hair feel so much healthier and gave it life again. The staff were so kind and cost of the service was very fair. ❤️🎄

after an unfortunate at home haircut turn out, Kelly was able to help me fix up what happened! she was very reassuring and helpful throughout the process and even gave me a bunch of styling advice and product recommendations for my new hair style! the salon itself is so cute inside and well kept. i will definitely go back for any future hair needs!! 🎀

Salon Allure is THE BEST salon on Oahu hands down. They accept WOMEN & MEN. I have been going to Dee since 2016! My usual services include a haircut & balayage & let me tell you his BALAYAGES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD! SO BEAUTIFUL & TRULY A WORK OF ART! Today Dee & Yoyo did my balayage for the 4th time & the results are absolutely perfect! Every time I get my hair done I am totally in love & will get numerous compliments for months! If you’re looking for exceptional stylists don’t look elsewhere & check out Salon Allure! You won’t be disappointed. They are very accommodating & welcoming. The salon is very sanitary, chairs are comfortable & the interior is decorated so beautifully! Come check them out.

I took my 3-year-old son to Salon Allure at Ala Moana Shopping Center, and we had an amazing experience! The owner was absolutely wonderful — patient, friendly, and incredibly skilled. She gave my son an amazing haircut, and he felt so comfortable the whole time. The atmosphere in the salon is warm and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their customers. This place is a hidden gem! They do all types of hairstyles for both men and women, and the quality is top-notc
